Alexandra Moreo is a visual project manager for National Geographic and a photography instructor in the lower Hudson Valley. Previously, she served as an editor on the animal and travel desks for the magazine. As a freelance photographer, her work has been included in the pages of the Washington Post and Sports Illustrated. She has photographed stories ranging from a traveling circus, to a group bike ride that memorialized the 30th anniversary of Pan Am Flight 103.
A local of the Hudson Valley area of New York, Alexandra attended Syracuse University, where she earned a degree in photojournalism and served as a chapter president of the National Press Photographers Association. She is based in New York.
